I have been getting them for a while my obgyn said I am on the pill she would recommend for them already.  I also recently got placed on a med again for my Crohn's.  The med for the Crohn's had been giving me headaches but I finally adjusted.  However this week is that time of the montha nd I am on my 4th day with the migriane.  The meds help it but dont make it go away completely.  Anyone have any suggestions especially since tomorrow morning I am going camping for a week and wont have the access to things I do now like being in a dark area with an ice pack etc.

Oh, how I feel your pain. I started having headaches about 6 months ago with my period. At first they were tolerable, would only last a couple days and I could ignore them. They have progressively gotten worse. Now they last the entire time I have my period, and I have to take medicine in order to function. I saw my GYN a couple weeks ago and was given percocet to take for them. Because we can't take NSAIDS (and I can not take birth control) she said she didn't think she could do much to help the headaches besides give me pain medicine.

I'm debating whether to ask for a neurologist referral to see if there's anything I can do to help prevent, rather than just treat them.

By the way, what crohns med is causing the headaches?
