Hi.
I have mild pain headaches and right side of head only. It started as a small dot sized pain, now is size nickel or quarter. If I had to describe a scale of 1-10, the pain is usually about 3-4. The pain is in different spots. It can be as far to front as right at hairline in front, down by temples or towards top of head. It is never in more than one spot at a time nor inside head as much as I can tell. It is more on the skull level and hurts when I put on a hat or when I take hat off but doesn't hurt at all to touch the area where pain is. It usually never hurts or is quite faint when nothing is touching my head. The headaches have been going on for a month and a half to 2 months and happen at random times. It hurts to touch or rub the other side of my head when the pain is on the other side. Sometimes they are bad in the evening, at times bad in afternoon. I don't have headaches every day but about 90% of the days the last 2 months I've had them. Yesterday I felt a very small bump on the area where headache is. Could anyone give some idea or thoughts what might be wrong???

Best is to talk to the neurologist. This place is a great resource but not an alternative to medical attention. I think you should maintain a diary to keep tracks of everything and consult a neurologist so you could see if there is any change with the medications. Post your experiences here and then folks can pitch in with their answers / suggestions.
Diagnosed March 2007 with left sided UC at the age of 30.
Currently on,
Colazal 9 daily, Imuran, 100mg + 50mg, Vit. B12, 1mg, Multivitamin, 1 tablet daily, Fish oil 1200mg daily, Vit D 2000 IU daily, Butterbur 150mg daily.

Verapamil 240mg for migraine, Migraine episode now at least twice a month,
Ibuprofen 400mg is the only solution (but leads to bleeding). Looking for alternatives.
