I have had moderate success with reducing frequency of migraines by avoiding Soybean oil which is in everything processed, etc. Topamax never helped and I have less head pressure since quitting. Titrate off this rather than stopping abruptly. May reintroduce if pressure and pain return. Veg oil or shortening may be soybean so beware. There is no guarantee this is for everyone but may help some. Seems to me if you are getting between 12-20 per mo. then food would have to be an issue unless medication induced. Let me know how it goes.
