Not doing to well...still dealing with these daily migraines. :( I've tried so many migraine drugs and nothing has helped. Still keeping my faith and never giving up hope! If it weren't for God I'd never get through these migraines. It's through the storms of life we find out just how strong we really are. Hope you are doing well. Thanks for asking about me. :)

Hi Mercyme. It is great to hear from you but sorry you are still suffering. What is the most recent thing you have tried for relief. Have you looked into this nerve decompression surgery?
I am in the same boat. Same continuous severe temporal headaches. Nothing has helped me. I just keep ice on my head all the time. I do want to call this Integrative Medicine clinic i found here and see what they have to say but otherwise i seem to be at a dead end for now. I don't know what else to do but i am growing so weary of this daily pain.
I wish we could both find answers.
Where do you live? I am in Canada.

Take care and take it one day at a time. It's all we can do for now.

Hi Suzane, I'm up early this Sunday morning when I should be getting ready for church, but am in to much pain, so guess I'll be staying home from church. :( You were asking what meds I was taking...currently on zonegran a low dose 100mg a day, zanaflex at night to help me sleep, toradol but can't take it no more than 2-3 times a week, cllonazepam and I have fioricet but none of these actually work!

I see my neurologist again in March, but honestly I'm wondering what he will try next since I've tried so much in the past without any success. I tried DHE protocol in the hospital and it helped in the hospital but as soon as I left I was right back to having the daily migraines. I also had botox injections and it didn't work, nerve blocks and they didn't work either. grrr!! it's sooooo frustrating!!

I went to see a chiropractor and she did deep tissue massage on my back, neck and shoulders because she said they were so tight and that was probably adding to my pain, but it was very painful and it didn't help. I wish I could afford to go to a headache clinic but right now I can't afford any more bills even with having insurance. There are always all the deductables that I have to pay.

Forgot to mention that I take lamictal for seizure control but am so THANKFUL to say that I am still seizure FREE after having the brain surgery back in 2002. :)) I've been through a lot, but refuse to give up! God has a plan and a purpose for us all!! God Bless!!

Please keep in touch, it really helps to have others to talk to that can relate to migraine pain. Is there anyway I can send you a private message on here so I can give you my email. Do you use Facebook?

Many Blessings,

Cindy/mercyme :-)
