I had cosmetic surgery 3 weeks ago, my body has been very tramatized.  I am able to move around just cant over exert myself.   Last night for the first time, I had this shooting pain in my head that I had never had before,  as I was getting up out of bed from a lying position, I could feel my body want to sway back to the left,  like I felt the first time sitting up after surgery.
The pain lasted on an off all day today,  it starts in the area between the top of my left ear and the top of my head and shoots forward a couple inches not all the way to the front.  I had not taken any of my pain medication from surgery today, wandering if that is causing the problem, and took aleve, but it has accurred all day.  Any suggestions what it could be?

Oh Lord, JUST A GUESS, sometimes head facial surgery can cause trigeminal neuralgia if certain nerves are cut or injured. ALSO could not be, there's no MD in back of my name but I am beginning with that in my upper right jaw but just a touch and not too often nor as acute as yours so far anyway. Mine was not from a surgery but I know that it can be caused from a trauma. Good luck. Rosemary
