For me it's tyramine...My natural remedy is to, if I notice I'm constipated, I start taking a LOT of magnesium to help flush it out of my system or relax the muscles...not sure which it is doing but it works. I can shorten a 3 day migraine to one day...
However I also notice my migraines can be associated with low blood sugar. I get heat headaches and heat affects blood sugar. Although I read if you quit eating what you are allergic to, you are not as sensitive to blood sugar swings.
There's a book on Amazon called Heal Your Headache and it explains food allergies and migraines and explains how going on an elimination diet can help you to figure out which foods you are allergic to. I found out I was allergic to tuna fish which has soy broth. I'm allergic to the soy.
