The day I ended up in an urgent care, with an unknown doctor, and a migraine that was so bad I was ready to put a gun to my head, was almost the the best day of my life! The doctor gave me a script for Neurontin; one pill at night. My migraines were cut in half!
Shortly after that I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and they increased the Neurontin to 3 times a day. I started with 2 because of how sleepy it made me. Then when Lyrica came on the market they switched me. Now I get maybe one a month. But then I know its time to go get an adjustment and get my head screwed on straight! This has made my life worth living again. I suffered with Migraines since I was 15. That was 42 years ago.
When I said that it was almost the best day of my life I have to explain and give glory to my God, who save me on the darkest day of my life when my ex kidnapped me and took me across the border into Mexico. 4 days later the FBI, the detectives from town I lived in and the Border Patrol rescued me and brought me home. I also suffer from PTSD from that event and the ones leading up to it. If anyone would like to hear the whole story I would be happy to tell it.
