I have family members who have suffered from migraines for years. Just recently it came to our attention that there are certain diets to follow that might
help those suffering form migraines so search the internet for "migraine diet." It appears that there is something called tyramine in certain foods that
might be linked to migraines. Foods that are old...like old cheeses are examples of these foods that might trigger migraines. Hope this information helps

Foods to be avoided most

Cheese (because of tyramine, bacteria and fermentation) .You should limit all cheeses, including imitations that contain some natural cheese, except fresh cottage cheese, farmer's cheese, ricotta, and cream cheese.Avoid especially American , blue,Boursault, brick,Brie,Camembert,Cheddar,Emmentaler,Gouda,Gruyere,Mozzarella

Do an internet search for "Low Tyramine Headache Diet". This will take you to a great resource for a good diet to follow if you are interested in following something like this. I printed a copy of the diet off and followed it strictly for quite some time. It now has become habit to eat those foods. I also have done personal research into what other foods may help my headaches and have talked to my doctor about them, I eat those foods everyday.
