I have been having classic migraines once or twice a month, for about forty years, so don't think I'll ever be free of them. Sometimes I get a sudden severe pain through the centre of what I think of as my weak 'migraine' eye. It can happen at any time during a migraine attack. I also sometimes get a similar pain in my head. Feels like it could just about push me over. Weird unless you have experienced similar. I also have astigmatism and am wondering if that has anything to do with some migraine attacks. The affected eye feels as though it shrinks and becomes very tired-dry and hot. I think this eye strain has become worse lately - have had my eyes tested again recently and need new specs but have not had too much change in four years. Another new phenomena is that over the last 36 hours I have had about eight migraine attacks with aura but not as much pain. Am wondering if anyone has similar symptoms. Needless to say I have had enough but can't see much chance of a miracle cure. Have tried everything anyone has suggested apart from acupuncture. Am keen to try this but live out in the backblocks so availability, travel and cost is a big factor here.
Any comments will be appreciated. Thanks.
