We've had a plasma HD TV in our bedroom for several months and it does not trigger migraines for me. However, I only watch it in the dark. We putchased a plasma HD for that dark room because we were told it would view better.

We now need a new TV for our open family room area. This ztV will get the most viewing. That room is very well lit most of the day. We were told an LED is the best viewing option for a sunny room. I don't have the option to close the blinds all day in the open kitchen/family room area.

What TV type do you think we should get for the sunny open area room, given my migraines? Have any of you had experience with LED TVs (or plasma) in daylight or sunny rooms? Has it triggered your migraines?

hi lilly p.to be quite honest, watching any type of tv while suffering migraines will not make your migraines any better.in most cases, watching tv can just make them worse.that said,i watch tv and i suffer chronic migraines and headaches.don't watch tv in a dark room.it means your eyes have to strain more and this can effect your migraines.same goes for computer screens.that said,we all can't give up our faviourite things just because we suffer bad pain in our heads.i have even started to read novels again which i could not do for about 20 years.you only live once.sorry i have not been much help.good luck and take care. shocked
