Hello. I'm 26 years old and had migraines since I was 13. As I get older, my migraines have changed. I will try to explain the best I can with this. The starts in the back of my neck, it makes a water squashing sound, but no pain. Then within 10 minutes the back of my right eye hurts. My eye feels like it gets swollen and my sight gets a little blurry. Then my right temple hurts. The more I move around, the more pain. Also the right side of my jaw/teeth hurt. Almost feels like I'm getting lock jaw. I've had a cat scan, MRI's and I've also went to the eye doctor. Cat scan came out normal. Eye Dr said my eyes were fine. MRI showed some narrowing disks in my neck but my Dr said it wasn't that bad to worry about. I also had epidural shots in my back and in my head towards the back of my ears. After my epidural shots, my Dr had me go to physical therapy. I was going 3 times a week. What I didn't understand was that my physical therapist would crack my neck everytime I had a migraine. This is when I started to have this right side of face pain. Could my therapist have cracked my neck wrong? Or from the epidural shots? Anybody else have this problem? Please help me. Any information will help! Thank you!!

Hi,

Sorry to hear about what you are going through. I would strongly suggest you find your self a Neurologist who is a Headache Specialist who will be best qualified to help you.

As time goes by and we get older Migraine can change and a Headache Specialist will have the best know how to help you manage your symptoms. Hope this helps.

take care

Also i would suggest seeing an orthodontist who specializes in tmj disorders just to rule out those problems.

Let us know how it all goes with you.
