My daughter has experienced 5 episodes of migraine in the past year that resulted in total blindness for a period of 3-4 days, and near-total blindness for another 3-4 days.
We would like to know if anyone else has had this type of migraine/blindness problem, and if so, what preventive measures or treatment are recommended?
Many thanks for all, and hoping for good health.

If you haven't already done so, you need to seek medical attention immediately. A neurologist will be able to diagnose the problem your child is having.

Best wishes,

DX: NDPH (2003-present), CRPS (1998-?) possible Abdominal Migraine (2010-present)
RX: Lamictal, Indomethacin, Propranolol, Provigil, Viibyrd, Oxycontin, Clonazepam, Zyprexa, Melatonin, Magnesium, Boswellia Serrata extract (Boswellic acid)

CPAP for mild sleep apnea
PRN: Ketamine nasal spray, Oxycodone
