MIgraine and Blindness

My daughter has experienced 5 episodes of migraine in the past year that resulted in total blindness for a period of 3-4 days, and near-total blindness for another 3-4 days. 
 
We would like to know if anyone else has had this type of migraine/blindness problem, and if so, what preventive measures or treatment are recommended?

If you haven't already done so, you need to seek medical attention immediately. A neurologist will be able to diagnose the problem your child is having.
