I have to start by saying that I am a migraine sufferer. I've had migraines since the age of 7. Now for the past 2 weeks I've been having the pain on the right side of my head: sometimes it starts at my temple and goes all the way down to the side of my neck and sometimes it starts from my forhead then goes to my temple then goes to the side of my neck. I know what migraines feel like and I don't think that this is one...It takes HOURS to go away! I went to my dcotor and he told me that it was stress to take excedrin and a muscle relaxer Robaxin 500mg and he told me that it will take time to get into my system. My problem is I can't do what I used to do: i cannot excercize, I cannot sleep on my right side or on my back [it's only on my left side and if i do sleep on my back i have to tilt my head towards the left side], i can't study and for the moment i am unemployed however I've stop searching because I'm scared of having this pain at work!

this has seriously hindered my life! I don't know what to do...Has anyone experienced this??? If so please tell me what you did! Thank you so much and please any advicce will help, I am in such pain!

Have you taken your wisdom teeth out? My primary doctor is telling me to do it.

Ramon, honestly I don't know. My primary Dr told.me to take.mine off stating that when wisdom teeth are acting up they can give you all kinds of illnesses. I haven't gotten mine out yet because I don't have insurance. It cost $2000 to get 3 of my 4 wisdom.teeth out! But as soon as I do it, if I get any relief, I'll definitely let you know!

Unfortunately it does sound like cluster headaches, which I get as well. They are HORRIBLE and I feel they are way worse then a migraine. From the research I did there is no actually cure for cluster headaches but there are some medications that lessen them. I currently take Verapamil 80mg 3x a day along with Baclofen 20mg 2x a day (Baclofen is a muscle relaxer). Mine only last for around 30-60 minutes but if yours are lasting longer then that my doctor advised me to go to the ER because they can give you oxygen and IV medications that take it away. As far as the Verapamil goes I have been on it since last Wednesday and was getting cluster headaches everyday so far since I have been on it I have had one, so maybe it is something you want to look into? I also had problems with my teeth at one point as well, I needed a root canal, after I had that done I did feel relieve for a while but they started up again. :( Let me know if you need anymore information on those medications...good luck!
