Hi everyone!

I am still in line to get checked for migraines. I am fairly convinced that that is what I am dealing with, since my father have had them for about 40 years, approx. five days a week. (Not all the same symptoms as I have though...) Thank you for reading!

My symptoms are:
Preassure on top of the head
Weekness in arms and sometimes legs
Feeling faint and "detached"
loss of sensation in my right hand, cheek and chin
Funny faste and sensation in the right side of my mouth
Anxiety and sometimes panic attacks
Sensitive to light and sound
Spots in my vision, mostly clear but sometimes blue like flashes
Stuffy nose and sinuses

These symptoms are often accompanied by:
Headache on the right side
Pain in the back of my head
Hot and cold flashes
Upset stomach
Feeling like the brain is filled with lactic acid and is "craping", sound weird but I can´t explain it any better.

I get most of my attacks during the summer when the weather is unsteady, and when I am stressed. This episode has lasted about three months, with a few days here and there without feeling this way.

I am seroiusly at the end of my rope and my husband, the poor thing, is frustrated and simply doesn´t understand what is going on. Well, who can blame him, I don´t either so... The anxiety, weakness and preassure on the top of the head is the worst. I feel like I am walking around on high altitude and lacking oxygen.

Thank you all for taking your time to read this...

Have you been tested for Lyme disease. The head pressure is the worst. My symptoms started 6 months ago. I have finally been diagnosed. Please get tested. Make sure its the western blot, and even though it comes back negative, it could still be a false negative as the tests are not that reliable. Either get retested or see an LLMD.

Isabella, I am 59 years old and have been a migraine sufferer since 7th grade!  To answer your first question, i had experienced all of your symptoms and some point!
Recently I must share with you that I have been on a "migraine cocktail" for the past month and I have found great success without drugs!  Daily supplements:          400 mg. Magnesium Citrate, 400 mg. B12 (Riboflavin,400-00 mg
No when you feel a migraine coming on try:  1 Aleve, 1 Aspirin, 1 Magnesium Citrate, and a Coke (for caffeine).
I am amazed at the difference I have experienced not to mention better sleep at night.
Please try and let me know if this works for you!
I also experience barometric headaches but the real test will come the next time it rains!!

Hi I suffered from headaches and dizziness all my life. 5 years ago I discovered that I was Salicylate Intolerant, allergic to aspirin and all foods containing salicylates. Aspirin is a salicylate that comes form the bark of the willow tree. All plants produce salicylates as a natural insecticide. It is in things likes fruit, most vegetables, tomato sauce, olive oil and many more. Theres a good list of foods in the book,"Salicylate Intolerance and The Healthier I Ate the Sicker I Got."

Right before I hit bottom I had such a pain in my right eye that I went for a CAT scan to rule out a tumor. Once I went on a low sal diet I got rid of my headaches, sizziness, nausea, neck pain, arthritis, asthma, dry eyes, nosebleeds and a foggy headed feeling.
Check out

There have been times where I ate or drank something and got a headache and dizziness with the whole room spinning. The last time it happened I had eaten Instant chocolate pudding with artificial colors (yellow #5 and Red 40) , artificial flavor and BHA preservative.
No one should just accept a diagnosis of Migraine Headaches when they can prevent them by finding out whats causing them. Its usually a food intolerance. Unfortunately there is no test for Salicylate Intolerance because it isnt an allergy. You have to go off the foods that are high and very high in sals as well as artificial colors and see how you feel. Good luck, Joan<!-- Edit -->
