i have a similar problem with you 2.i ve been suffering from every day headaches for 2 years now and i ve tried everything to cope with it.i have one side pain,vertigos,tension in the center of the head,spasms,pain in the neck and back.i even have spasms at my jaws some times.its awful because i m 24 years old and my life quality really sucks.i cannot study anything any more and the fact that i have a law degree doesnt make me very optimistic about my future.i have also a great sensitivity to loud noise,so bars clubs and walking at noisy streets are a nightmare for me.
to get to the point,after alot of visits to neurologists,everybody has tried to convince me that my problem is psychological and i ve to do psychotherapy,since everybody believes i suffer from anxiety.well,i ll do so and i ll let you know.
therefor,an alternative method that has helped me alot is ACUPUNCTURE!i ve been doing it for 2 years.the specialist has to be very well trained.if he is not,he could harm you.
thanks to acupuncture i manage to take my degree and live some normal days.on feb 2012 i passed 1 month at bed in pain and i couldnt even walk.thanks to acupuncure i can say that i do not stay in bed anymore and i dont suffer from pain.dizziness and tension keep torturing me though.
after these efforts i base all my hopes to omeopathy,vitamins and lots of praying.
if my problem continues i think that i ll end up selling clothes or sth because as a lawyer it will be simply impossible to survive.
some simple advice:
1.drink alot of water while having headaches.
3.a hot bath helps
4.red fruit juices also help
5.vitamin b helps alot
6.ketoprophene does some work.but i m not so keen on medicine because in the end they make the problem worse.
7.you could use ear taps if you are sensitive to noise.try to see if noise makes you feel worse.
8.use a good quality pelow.
9.try not to be sad (even if its impossible)
10.pray and be optimistic.try all solutions possible and never never give up.
