Ok so I'm a teenage girl and I get migraines all the time to where I miss school almost once a week at least. On a usual week I have 2 or 3 migraines that aren't terrible by still hurt like crap. I have imitrax but later after I feel better I get a headache/ mild migraine. My doctor said I may not be drinking enough water or that my diet may need to be better but I tried and I still get them. Please help I hate having them

Ab289,

Have your parents take you to a neurologist or a headache specialist. There are meds to settle Migraines down before they start up.

Good Luck,

I agree with Mamma Lama. Imitrex may not work for you but there are so many other things to try. Missing that much school means this is a serious problem so please see a headache specializing neurologist.
Nail patella syndrome, osteoarthritis, complex migraines, eosinophilic esophagitis, major depressive disorder, OCD, and fibromyalgia.

Meds: flovent 220 mcg, flexeril 10 mg, zonisanide 100 mg, omeprazole 40 mg, Cymbalta 60 mg
