So I'll start this off by saying I'm 19. Shortly after Christmas I felt tenderness on the left side of my face, along with congestion and whatnot. So I went to the doctor and he told me I had a sinus infection. He prescribed me antibiotics, and within a few days, I was feeling fine. On the last day of taking the antibiotics, however, I started feeling pressure in my head and a tense feeling in my neck. At first it didn't bother me much so I just took some decongestant and it helped a little. However, it's persisted for about 4 days now. And it's really bothersome. I'll explain this the best way that I can. There's a tightness in my temples, and it goes all the way around to the back of my head. I can even feel it in my jaw, and by my eyebrows. Even over top of my nose. I also feel fatigued. Not to mention the fact that there is a tight feeling in my neck. The pressure gets worse while laying down.

Secondly, I will add that I've always had problems with my anxiety. I struggle with it a lot, and I do get panic attacks. I worry more than I should, and the fact that I'm always paying attention to the pressure in my head probably makes it worse. It's never been so bad that I can't sleep. I actually sleep really well. But it can throw off my concentration sometimes. I talked to my mother about it, because she had the same thing last year when she had a sinus infection that wasn't cleared up with the antibiotics given by her doctor. I've been doing a lot of research on this, and there's a lot of scary possibilities that it could be. And I know that I won't know until I go see a doctor. I was just wondering if there was anyone out there who was feeling the same way I do and support at this time would be excellent because I'm really scared.

I've had issues with sinus infections I had one that lasted about 2 years before my dr finally sent me to an Ent. I'm still waiting for a result on some tests. You may ask your dr if he thinks an Ent may be what you need.
Being more proactive about your health may help your anxiety. There's lots of natural remedies in the Internet so maybe you coy look into those. Try taking something for sinus headache. That may help. Good luck.

I run and walk quite a bit to relieve stress. At least once a day, if not more. And that does help quite a bit. Plus I use breathing techniques and whatnot. I feel a little bit better today, so I'm hoping it lasts.
