I get glares in my vision from bright lights and within 20 to 30 minutes later I get a migraine. How can I treat this condition?

I believe what you are describing is called auras. They don't cause the migraines but a precursor or a warning that a migraine is coming. If you get them often and over the counter medications such as exception migraine don't help then you should see your doctor.
During the migraine try and stay in a darkened room with a cool rag on your head until it passes. Without more information on your specific symptoms that's all I've got. Let us know how you're doing.
Nail patella syndrome, osteoarthritis, complex migraines, eosinophilic esophagitis, major depressive disorder, OCD, and fibromyalgia, IBS

Meds: flovent 220 mcg, flexeril 10 mg, zonisanide 100 mg, omeprazole 40 mg, Cymbalta 60 mg,dicyclomine 20 mg, elavil, 10 mg, Xanax prn, hydrocodone prn.

Thanks for the feed back, basically ill get this glare and I usually try to take a pain reliever to fight the migraine, and it's like a blind spot in my perifial view. I'm starting to get them more frequently and it's really starting to concern me. I've talked to my eye doctors about it and them seem kind surprised about it but really don't know anything about it and how to treat it or even why it happens. So I'm wondering if I should see a specialist about it.

I get these 'auras' before a migraine and from talking to other people they're pretty common. I know a migraine's coming as I get a blind spot in one eye, it comes on really suddenly, a bit like when you've looked at the sun by mistake or have had a photo taken with a flash, then I get zigzag lines and, for some reason, yawn a lot. about 20 minutes later I get the headache.
I can't really comment on your symptoms as I'm not a doctor, but it sounds like your symptoms are pretty common. It helps if you can identify triggers, like stress, certain food, tiredness.
I'm surprised your eye doctors have never heard of these symptoms though.
Good luck.
