Has anyone tried Primerose Oil for your migraines? I've read up on it and some people say that it has helped them a lot. It is suppose to help with fatigue also which I also get with migraines, they drain they life out of you! sad Have also been thinking about never decompression surgery if that is even an option for me. Calling a doctor tomorrow at Georgetown University in Washington DC ~ Dr. Ducic He does migraine surgery.

Hi Mercyne,

My name is Michelle and I live in the DC area. I have been trying to get a hold of the Georgetown Peripheral Nerve Institute, but EVERY time I've called all I get is the voice mail! I saw Dr. Jessica Ailani in November 2011 who told me that I needed to go through at least 3 rounds of botox before I would be considered a candidate for the surgery. I have had 4 now and have had some benefits, so I would really love to get an appointment to discuss the possibility with them.

Have you met with them yet? If so, do you mind letting me know how you obtained the appointment? Have you see Dr. Ducic? I have read that he is the one the conducts the surgery.

I have had a headache for over 6 and 1/2 years (New persistent daily chronic headache with migraine) and I'm looking for anything that can give me relief.

Also, do you live in the area? Have you seen any doctors that have been helpful? I would appreciate any insight.

about your question- I have not heard of primerose oil being used for migraines. I have heard of lavender and other herbal supplements like B12 that are helpful. I'm sorry that I couldn't be more helpful.

Thank you! And good luck!
Wishing you to be pain free.
Michelle
