Some history.... I am 23 and have had migraines since 16, hormonally related. I do not get an aura, just a stabbing pain behind my right eye. They then were trigged by light, stopped driving at night. I started pharmacy school and notice a huge increase my third year due to stress, migraines every other day. I get nauseous and just that awful stabbing throbbing behind my right eye. I can'tdo anything but sleep and take sumatriptan. I do not drink alcohol and have kept a food diary and do not have any triggers. I started topiramate in December...what a treat. I am 5"4' and lost ten lbs to 110. I need a two hour nap daily. I started at 50 Mg and was getting 2 a week so I am at 100. Pcp took labs, every thing WNL, just WBC slightly elevated and neutrophils so I am repeating but not concerned. She referred me to Neuro but cannot get in till may. I have not even had tension headaches since staying Topomax but lately have been having unilateral pain behind my eye. It is just dull, I feel nauseous but it is like a 2/10 and do desn't pulse. You guys think these are migraines that I am just so accustomed to or something else? Tylenol, caffeine and ibuprofen provide no relief
