So in September I suffered a very bad concussion playing football. I had post concussion syndrome and it took until February for most of my symptoms to go away.
It has been a few months since I have had any significant symptoms from the concussion. This morning I woke up with a bad headache that reminded me of when I had the concussion. When I bend over and the blood rushes to my head it hurts much worse. When I cough it hurts much worse or if I shake my head a little it hurts much worse. I took Tylenol and drank lots of water today but it has not helped. I am a college student and have been stressed out with lots of exams, extracurricular stuff etc and have had only 3 or 4 hours of sleep the past few nights. This isn't an extreme jump in stress however, but still a noticeable one.
Is there any idea of whether this could be connected to my concussion?
Is there any chance that this could be something really serious like a blood clot or something?
