How often do you suffer from head pain? Please vote and feel free to share your stories...

I used to suffer from migraines daily, ending up in the ER or inpatient at least once a month. Things had cooled off for a while-but without medication and insurance I am feeling like I am going back down hill a little bit.

I work and have lots of other activities, I do my best but still seem to miss out doing at least one day's worth of activities each week.

I'm not new to HealingWell, but I am new to this forum. I had a stroke last August and much to my surprise it left me with seizures and at the same time I started having migraines with auras. The complete left side of my face goes numb, tingling and just generally a very weird feeling. Due to the prior stroke, myself and my Dr.'s weren't quite sure if I was having another stroke, TIA's, or what. So I had to go through an ECG and an MRI and it was noted on the ECG that irregular brain waves were coming from the area where the stroke was...so that's where they put the blame. The MRI showed no new stroke-just the old area where it was damaged. Thank goodness the headaches while coming very frequently, and having increased in intensity haven't come close to some of the stories that I've heard! So I consider myself very lucky.

Hugs, Teri :)
