A year ago I experienced a sudden explosive headache. However I forced myself to calm down by deep breathing and cool water on my face. Although a level 10 pain, it was over in just a few minutes. After I had a couple of days where I just felt tired.
This same headache occurred two more times in as many months, only this time it came on immediately following orgasm. I went to doctor and explained the scenario and with the added sypmtom of feeling like my head was bruised inside.
Nothing was done. Between October and January this happened two more times. Doctor insisted it was stress and wanted me to file stress claim.
When I wouldn't for fear of losing my job, he so much as said don't call me about it. Either see the mental or occupational health dept. Which I did. The psych prescribed adivan for anxiety and as was told to take at bedtime.
On April 18th my world changed. I awoke with h.a, became confused when moving about. Nothing relived the pain and I couldn't think. Called 911 and went to Kaiser er. A ct scan was taken and they attempted to force nitroglycerin on me. When I refused they told me to leave or volunteer psych hold. In early morning I received a panicked call asking that I call 911 and get back to er. I was air lifted to stroke hospital and dx. Hemoragic stroke without aneurysm or injury. Looking to understand. I've been thru the ringer. Now Dr is looking at lupus and or kidney disease. I'm unsure of the correlation. Welcome input.
