Hi! A little background info....I'm 34, in ok health and just got braces put on my teeth 8 weeks ago.

So for the past 2 weeks I've started having nausea and ear pain, then the GI upset started, then last night I had the most severe headache that I have ever had in my life followed by 3 rounds of vomiting.

My doctor doesn't think that it's any type of stomach bug or virus. My ears checked out fine.

I don't get headaches often and I'm not stressed about anything. I was driving home last night and my head started hurting around the forehead and top of my head. The nausea was terrible. I got home and immediately got sick. I took a zofran and 2 advil and thankfully, fell asleep.

I woke up this morning with a mild headache, nothing like last night. Does this sound like a migraine? I am wondering if the braces are causing any of this?

it sounds like it, to be honest. no expert but have done a lot if reading on migraines and the braces shifting your teeth could cause upward effects from your jaw, causing the ear pain and had pain. I know ( from reading) that wisdom teeth can cause migraines if they dont fitand so can any form of bite alignment.
hope this helps and your aches go away quickly!
