Hi everyone

I have chronic constant migraine and nerve twitches (face, back, legs)ever since I went to a chiropractor a few years ago for my neck which had seized up due to stress and the drug Roaccutane.
He cracked my neck and I think this irritated my brain stem and spinal column as the pain became widespread quickly.
I used to be on amitriptyline but came off too quickly to try something else and I haven't been able to find pain relief since. This is partly due to a very sensitive gut: as soon as I try a medication the pain actually increases!
I have had tests which show a lit of abnormal brainstem activity when I try things my gut doesn't like...showing further irritation and sensitivities.
I am bedbound and in constant pain due to face feels like its being cut with wires, I get hot flashes from migraine, my eyes have bright spots constantly , I can even see a silvery colour at the side of my eyes where its fluttering. my ears whistle from the nerves, I twitch almost everywhere and I can barely raise my arms as my the nerves and muscles in my shoulders are rigid. My feet are blue :-( and I can barely wear shoes.
I am under a sensitivity based hospital but they've said if I've become sensitive to chemicals (as I have) they don't know what to suggest.
please can anyone make a suggestion?!
Herbal? Surgery? A different medication?
I am at the very end of what I can tolerate....I want my life back!

thank you

Hi Jolene.   That sounds excruciating.  and in my opinion sounds like a lot more than just chronic migraine is going on with you for sure.   If your feet are blue it means a lack of oxygen to the area, you need an Emergency room immediately.   If you live on top of a hospital? (as I think I read) I'd slap a mask on and go in anyway, or call an ambulance and go to a different one.   That really does sound serious, and you shouldn't wait or question, just do it.
As for your obvious nerve pain, you need a specialist, I bet if they fix that part of you, you'll find alot of relief for your migraine troubles due to the stress and muscle stiffening and fatigue you'd experience with being so spastic.

This is just my opinion, and I am in no means a professional anything, anymore.
Good luck to you Jolene.
