Ive posted before concerning the following with headaches:
Numbness in the face and tounge as well in other parts of the body.
Brain fog.
YOu know, stroke like symptoms but with out the stroke.
I was reading today about sensory auras and it appears from one study i read that thers a fairly high percentage of people who experience the above mentioned.
My Neurologist also wrote an article concering this and emailed it to me.
today I expericed and still have numbness in my tounge and around my mouth so i thought id research and refresh my mind concerning this matter as it can be scarey.
Its usually random when this happens and can be off and on for days and then stop for days'weeks, maybe months.
any comments or testimonies would be comforting and apprietiated.
thanks!! :-)

Sensory Aura with Migraine response:
I also have the aura and get numb, see electric flashes.  My numbness travels through my body and usually starts in my hand and is on one side only.  This I believe this is a classical migraine.  I have posted before about the way I stop my migraine from progressing.   I take Xanax - .50 mg - and in less than 10 minutes the aura stops and the migraine does not progress to the headache.  It is like a miracle.  My mother and daughter also have classical migraines and it works for them also.  You should give it a try.
