Would greatly appreciate any input to find potential treatments for my headaches.

I have been having severe headaches for last 15 years. They are different in nature than sinus or dehydration type headaches.

-Severe stabbing/squeezing pain that lasts for 1 to 2 seconds and lets up for about 10 to 30 seconds
-Always in one spot in the top part of brain/skull/scalp and never radiates
-Have had them on both sides, front and back of head, always above the temple line
-The affected area is always point tender from touch to the scalp in that spot
-usually lasts for several hours sometimes eases up but usually returns after a few hours
-onset is usually sudden less than 30 minutes
-tends to last for a couple of days

No OTC meds help. No neck pain with it, no visual or auditory impairment. Have found no activity change that helps. No difference from light or dark room.

Thank you - David
