about a year ago I started getting migraines every day with severe sensitivity to light , Its gotten to the point that I cant drive at night even with sunglasses the lights are too bright. To make matters worse when the migraines start my back and neck tense up and start hurting real bad too. If any one can give me some advice I would really appreciate it. Thanks God Bless

Hello, I removed your other duplicate post. I think the best advice I can give is to go see a neurologist and take the proper steps to get tests and treatment. I have been able to get my migranes to a minimum using different things at different times. Currently, I use hormonal methods to keep things at bay. In the past, I used an antidperessant. Prior to that, I use abortive measures. There are a lot of options. I hate that neck and jaw tensing too. Nothing seems to help when my neck/shoulders/jaw tense.

I've been to neurologist, but all the meds they have prescribed me haven't worked. At this point I would be content with at least not having the photo-phobia so bad ...

You haven't listed your meds. You did mention that you have neck and back pain. Has the neurologist mentioned botox injections? I have suffered from migraines for 27 years and have used about every med there is with no relief. I have seen TMJ specialists who injected muscle relaxants into my face, neck, and shoulders and prescribed oral relaxants for several relief. relief..... topomax....relief for a short time then back they came. Blood pressure relief. All the typical relief. I have finally found relief, as the moderator said, through hormones. This is not complete relief but does keep them to a minimum and they are not as severe. (I can function. Yea!!) However, right before I began the hormone treatment (which had previously not worked) my next step was the botox injections. Maybe it would work for you if your insurance would approve it. Good luck.
