I've been dealing with headaches & migraines for over half my life, so I thought I'd experienced it all, but I was wrong. Around dinner last night, I started getting this sharp pain about
an inch above my right ear, deep into my head. It went away, but came back later in the evening, much worse. It felt like someone was hammering an ice pick into my skull. I also got very nauseous and was sure I was going to throw up (I didn't). I was nervous about
taking my migraine medicine because I'd never felt pain quite like this in this
location before. Today, I can still kind of feel it, although not nearly as bad.
My headaches are typically on the top of my head, around my sinuses, temples, or at the base of my neck.
Has anyone experienced this kind of head pain before?
