Hello everyone. I'm usually over on the anxiety/panic forum but I need some advice over here. I've had headaches my whole life but for the past three months horrible headaches. Excedrin is the only thing that works for me so I have had to take it everyday for about 3 months now. Some days only one works, Some days i have to take 2. I recently found out I was pregnant and the only thing I can take is Tylenol.. which does NOTHING for me. I usually take ibuprofen 800 as well and cannot take that either. I have work school and 2 children that I need to function for and i can't do it with these migraines and headaches, they make me soooo sick. My ob/gyn is referring me to a headache clinic and more physical therapy and I'm being in the high risk pregnancy offices now because of this and other problems. My question is what do they do at headache clinics? I've had multiple ct scans and MRIs for this and nothing has been found. Something has got to give! This is awful ): I obviously don't want to hurt my unborn child but I can't go on in pain without medication for these... they're debilitating. Also, if anyone knows of any medication for migraines/Headaches that are safe to take while pregnant please let me know! Thanks!

Migraines are no fun with pregnancy...or ever. I was high risk with my son, and the specialist put me on fioricet. It was safe gfor him and helped me. The good thing is that all head pain stopped at 17/18 weeks with both kids. I started getting the p17 injection to prevent preterm labor at that time, and it eliminated head pain for me.
