Hi,
Sorry to hear about your pain. Migraines are not "just migraines" it's a neurological chronic disease that affects your life physically, emotionally, socially and even work ability. So people that minimize our struggle ought to live one day in our life. Maybe it's time to get a second opinion or another dr that u can talk to and trust that emphathizes with you and is willing to try different treatment approaches.
There is accupuncture, massage, Physical Therapy, Chiropractic, nerve blocks, Botox injections and even a new FDA approved TENS to deactivate the trigeminal nerve called Cefaly. Not covered by insurance yet so it's $250 out of pocket.
I caution against using too many pain pills bc that was my downfall. I got dependent on RX oxycodone & the rebound migraines were constant. I'm off of them now thank God but it took years to do it.
Good luck,
K8ty
