When I hit 22 (I'm now 33) I started waking up once a week hating contact with water (the thought of it actually feels like acid), feeling faint, up/down energy levels, heavy eyes, unable to focus, and my legs feeling almost out of control - though they are not, it's bizarre. It took 8 years for me to be diagnosed with migraine, the doctor gave me Sumatriptan which worked wonders for a whole year! No attacks turned into a migraine. Then my body became used to these drugs, so we swapped to Frovatriptan one month and back to Sumatriptan the next. Due to the nature of these drugs, I get more frequent warnings a migraine is coming (head pressure like the back of a pin, and icy sensations sometimes going up and down my legs, and the feeling of not controlling my legs), so take them almost ddaily. I'm now finding after just 2 weeks each drug looses it's effectiveness. I'm getting really depressed now I can't take part in normal life, never being able to commit to something because I don't know how I'll be that day. I can't see that I'm getting these attacks due to eating something, as I'd have noticed a link surely by nearly 14 years.

I'm going to Chichester hospital about this but I'm skeptical due to there being no cure. These migraines never hurt but still completely ruin my day/s where all I want to do is hide away.

I'd really like a solution that kicks in when the migraine is there, and solves it within an hour or so, as I'm often needlessly taking the drugs I have incase the warning signs are real.
