I'm 22 and started having really bad headaches after I had my second child I have the Mirena and some people say that could be the cause. At time when I get my migraines I lose half of my vision in my right eye and then I become numb on the left side of my body goes all the way to my face. Does anyone else experience this? Have you been to the dc yet. I can't get to the neurologist until September.

Have you at least seen your primary care doc to get help until you can see the neurologist? I think you really need to be under a doctor's care right now, at least to see if you can get some tests/scans done to rule out any really bad stuff (and maybe figure out what's causing the problems), and also to do what you can to try to prevent/treat the problem temporarily, until you can see the other doc. And don't forget to ask your doc about the Mirena, if it could be causing your problems, may be good to get rid of it.

Hope you are able to get some answers before Sept. Good Luck and take care!

Good plan. Keep a diary of events for your headaches and numbness. Call around and see of other neurologists can see you sooner. Get a referral from your GP perhaps that will help.
