I been having a problem since Feb 2013 Its like when I breath in or out I feel and kinda hear pressure by my left ear inside somewhere.. its been kinda scary. when its harder to breath though my nose the problem gets worse but in other ways it goes like this. at random times its barley noticeable and random times its normaly noticeable so i know its still bothering me and at random times still, its very noticeable and when its very noticeable I get kinda scared or worried or a mixter of both. and it takes stress you know? It happends every single day.. I dont wanna go to a doctor yet because for 1 my ears make a lot more wax and faster then other people and the doctor even said so. And why I dont wanna see a doctor because of that is because when they have to look in my ear I cant hear anything.. is that normal cause I dont know.. anyway when they look in my ear somehow they always push some wax more down were I cant hear anything untill they have to clean it far down and that makes me pretty scared... And 2 my ma said im getting a new doctor.. im not sure if i have a new one yet or not.. anyway if there is a way to get this problem away without seeing a doctor first can you please tell me..? the problem is normal happing were ik its there.. well its getting worse..

I have not experienced what you describe. You definitely need to see a doctor, perhaps a specialist ent, or someone who specifically works with ears... You should be able to express your concerns to the doctor and not have them put anything in your ear if it's too uncomfortable for you. You really can't find out how to treat it without finding out what's going on. Sorry. I wish I could offer more answers.

I'm not familiar with the issue your describing except for very brief times that I get altered hearing in one ear, it sounds like a bubble is in it.

I did a little research though and found the following:

See if this is similar to what you describe? Make sure to follow-up with a doctor.

Best of health to you.

Sad cat,

Welcome to the forum.

I would not diagnosis over the internet. Most times folks scare themselves for no reason and the situation is a quick fix.

There is no way to avoid seeing a doctor. However you can see an ENT, ears, nose and throat specialist who may have run into this symptom before.

If it is wax and too much builds up you will have severe pain from the ear drum. Best to take care of it now.
