So let me start with the back story just in case this has to deal with it. Moved into college last week. I was getting 12 hours of sleep a night now I get 7-8 average. I do get 10-12 on weekends. I am a Cross Country runner who just started running 30+ miles a week. I am also a computer major so I spend most of my classes and free time in front of the screen, but I always have done that even at home. I also wear contact lenses.

The other day I noticed my eyes were having trouble focusing on anything, and as a result I felt zoned out and not in control of myself. I noticed that while I was running or busy doing something my eye sight felt just fine, but when I was sitting in one spot or just walking it came back.

Yesterday my head actually started to hurt to go along with the vision problems. I bought Advil Migraine and took some and just slept 3-8 PM. However, when I woke up I still had the pretty bad migraine. I took my contacts out so I cant tell how my vision is. I just don't know what to do or what is wrong with me so any advice would help or of you have any Q's post below and I will answer.

jseadog,

welcome to the forum.

I would start by going to the school wellness center and getting checked out.

If by chance your college does not have one, find a doc and make an appointment. It could be anything from needing a new vision script to dehyration, to complex migraine that needs maint meds.

If you are overly stressed, this could also be a factor.

I hope you feel better soon.
Peace
Trina
