Follow up to my post yesterday. Because I did not yet have the Cambia in hand, I needed to take the last dose of Naratriptan I had to deal with a morning migraine. Interestingly enough, I did not require any additional medication yesterday. I was exhausted and felt some pressure in my head but no additional migraine.
Unfortunately, this morning I felt a migraine coming on at 6am. I've read that this is a common occurrence (the 6am headache). Since I had been up for a while and started drinking my coffee already, I was concerned about taking the Cambia (you are supposed to take it without food or drink).
I waited about 15 minutes and then took it. Since the pain had increased, I rested for about half an hour on the sofa. It took about a full hour, but finally the pain started dissipating, and now it is totally gone.
With the Naratriptan, the pain never totally went away.
So far, I am pleased with this treatment.
