I know your post is a couple weeks old, but just wanted to say I hope you have found some relief by now! How miserable! Sounds like your hospital stay did nothing to help. Sorry. I don't know anything about you, but do you see a doc who really specializes in headaches/migraines, not just a regular neurologist or whatever, but headache specialist? Are you on any meds to try to prevent migraines? have you tried botox?

I had basically daily migraines for a few years before seeing my headache specialist. She started me on botox treatments every 3 months, and combining those with meds to prevent (I take verapamil, baclofen, and named (not traditional headache meds)), I do pretty well. Except for the past week. Otherwise, it's usually now 1-2 migraines a month, intensity is WAY down, length of them is WAY down, just so much better.

If I can be of any help to you, please write. Hope you are doing much better by now though!!
