Ok this is a long story but I will start at the begginning in holes that someone with similar experience can help me.

Back in march of 2011 i had lap bad surgery. It was very successful for me and helped me lose 240lbs. I never had any serious health problems just was always overweight. I do have sleep apnea.

In November of 2013 I suddenly got very ill and over the course of a few days got so ill that I ended up in th ER. Symptoms were similar to a very bad sinus infection. I was diagnosed with mono. I ended up missing a month of work and eested just as my dr instructed.

In late December, just before christmas, 2013, I start having some pain in my abdomin area that felt like my ab muscles were worked out very hard doing lots of situps. I made an apt to see my a dr at a local clinic where she took some xrays and told me I just had a lot of "poop" in me and that I should start a fiber supplement. A few weeks went by and the pain started getting worse to the point i could not even eat because eating started triggering the pain to intensify. I contacted my lap band surgeon to see if maybe i had a slippage andd got an appointment right away.

I told the surgeon about the pain and his comment was that i gained a few lbs and i needed a fill. He attemoted to fill the band but had a hard time finding the access port and kept poking the needle in and out of my skin. The pain was getting out of control. Finally i told the dr im really not here to be poked i need help with this pain. He said lets fill u first then we can address the pain. he then through floroscopy was able to attain a fill. He ordered a ct scan and sent me on my way.

I went and had the ct scan and noticed over the next two days the area where the dr was pokng me wit the needles was blotchy and itchy. There was also a bubble starting to form that looked like a blister. I immediately called the dr and was told he could see me in two weeks. I demanded an apt the same day and told them about the bubble. They told me to come right in. I went in, the ct scan resukts were also in. Apparently the band eroded into my stomach and caused a huge infection.

I was admitted to the hospital same day and put on iv antibiotics zosyn and cliosyn for five days. The band was removed and i missed two months of work recovering with a whole in my abdomen that a nurse had to come every two days to check in and repack wit this silver stuff.

The next few months i suffered intentinal problems on a daiy basis ranging from diarhea to severe cramps to constipation. Various gi dra did nothing to help me but twll me to take a probiotic that didnt help me at all.

In april i 2014 i returned to work and within a few days i was feeling better. My body was starting to feel stronger. I was starting to feel normal again and then i woke up on a wednesday with a headache that has been with me ever since. I will explain in more detail as i continue my story. So at first the heache was just a low key minor dull heache but it was constant. It lasted all day wednesday and thursday. Then on friday i was at work and just passed out for no reason at all. The ambulance came and took me to the hospital where they ran tests in my heart and brain and all were perfect except for a cyst on my pineal gland that they say is unrelated.

The headache on that friday that i passed out was more intense than it was the previous two days annd there was this feeling of a noise in my head that i cannot describe to anyone effectively. It sounds like either a squeaky gear or those locua bugs in the summertime up in the trees only at a higher pitch and the nouse is constant 24/7.

So i have been dealing with this and seeing neuroligists and taking topromax, sumatriptan and it doesnt help. Really the only thing that helps is excesrin migrain and that just tones it down.

I have regular mris to monitor the cyst and its not growing. Its about double the size of the gland so its not of huge concern.

I did also have a gallbladder attack in october 2014 which they found 30 stones and had to remove my gallbladder. Also in the latest mri they found my nasalpharynx is filed with sinus tissue. My ent said my adenoids must not have ever shrunk when i went through puberty. Her took biopsies and ruked out any sort of lymph node cancer.

So the heache is sti going strong, it is now december 2014, almost 8 month later.

so the big question is can anyone help me figure out what is up wiyh these headaches?

Mario, welcome to the forum. So sorry for the lack in response.

I can only think that head pain is being caused by diet and intenstinal changes. This is common.

There is a link in our Resource Thread at the top of the forum for the migraine diet. If followed it helps about 85% of people. I follow it and more. Helps me.

I have changed my diet drasticly, although I have more health issues then just migraines. See my dx below.

I drink water most of the time, gingerale for nausea. Eat whole foods, no preprocessed food products.

NO caffiene, stay way from chocolate, potatoe chips all junk food.

Under no circumstances eat anything with red or yellow food dye in it. This alone will cut many things out of ones diet.

If you choice to do this, it is a major life style change can be expensive at the beginning until you find cheaper recipes and better places to shop.

I will you well. Please keep posting and let us know how you are doing.

Peace

Trina thankyou for the post. Where can I find this migraine diet you refernced. Also what ia it about red and yellow dye that are so bad. How do i know if food have them?

I am very good at staying away from caffeine, i gave up pop back when i had the lap band put in. I may have ine every couple months but its few and far between. I will work on the chocolate and chips, they are my weakness.

Thankyou.

Change your diet to help relieve headaches:
www.themigrainediet.com/

Millions of people have an allergy to the food dyes. Yellow 5 Red 40 and other numbers. It contributes to adhd in adults and children there have been studies and it and subsitute sugars. So all natural is the way to go.

Here is the kicker, labels have to read, on EVERYTHING you buy. This is what makes it such a life changer. Suddenly, so many things you eat and drink have this stuff in it. Things you would never imagain!

Granola bars have red dye in some brands. Why? No clue.

So spend the time reading the ingrediants, Even if it says All Natural, read the ingrediants.

I hope you feel better soon.

Happy New Year.
