Hello friends,

I am suffering from headaches since last 10 years. I tried all possible medications nothing is working for me. Last year I had MRI of brain, spinal cord, nerve injections..nothing is worked for me. I am on topomax, lyrica and amitrypline . I feel better only when I take tablets, but my pain never goes off. I feel that these tablets are suppressing the pain. In background there will be a mild pain always.

While sleeping I feel my head has become very heavy and something is happening inside my head, Heavy shoulders. After I wakeup, pain starts to move, it slowly goes to the top of the head and comes to forehead. By afternoon I will have a one sided headache (It is not specific to one side - One day it will be on right side, another day it will be on left side).

(I went to chiropractor also)..

I am 29 years old female, weighing 135lbs. doctor had asked me to get some blood tests done, they are all normal. Non-smoker and non-drinker.
Anyone is suffering like me? I feel that my pain is not curable.
Your suggestions will be helpful.

First, if you are on constraceptive medication call your gyn or druggist and ask about headache side effects.

2nd. Go to our resource thread at the top of this forum and go the the 'migrainediet' link. great info on foods that cause pain.
Stay away from food dyes, especially, red and yellow, they seem to be in everything!

3rd, Find a hospital that specializes in neurology and get a diagnosis. I went to John Hopkins in Md. after 6 neuro.'s and a chrio/neuro. See below for dx. I now see a doc at Thomas Jeff Univ in Phila., Well worth the expense.

I am on a combo of meds, pain level is 1-3 most day 10 being the highest. Cluster headaches maybe 1-2 times a month now.

Flood your boody with water, stay away from soda, power drinks etc....

Best of luck. Let us know how you make out
