Don't think it's migrane, but as this forum is called ' Migraine - "Headache"' so I thought it'd be ok to post it here.

So I'm having this weird headache, it's severe but what's scary about it is the throbbing and bulging veins. Specially a vein on right side (the problem side) on forehead throbs so much sometimes and can be touched easily. also under my right year, on the crown, I feel the thumping. I can close my one eye and see the bulging purple veins so easily, that's freaking me out.Doctors don't take it seriously. So are there specialists for this problem. been to an eye specialist, there was nothing wrong according to him. Should I see a neurologist?

last night it was so terrible that I couldn't sleep. A vein on the top of my skull on left side kept thumping. Facial pain, pressure on forehead and eye and also in nose... my hearbeat was very fast. Will be going to see a physician today.

Voice, sounds like you have some anxiety going on along with the migraine pain.

Migraine are produced along nerve and vascular byways in our head. So I am not surprised you can see or feel a vein.

Have you tried ice to relieve the pain?

As for a neurologist I would suggest one at major hospital so all your questions can be answered by once doctor and received a full diagnosis.

Thank you BnotAfraid. I haven't tried ice, how to use it. Went to a physician yesterday, he thinks its depression... but I don't know. He gave me some med and said we'll do a CT scan if the pain isn't relieved by a weak. The throbbing vein on top of the head is fine now, but I still have constant headache and pressure. Sometimes left eye hurts with pain on forehead too. I'm worried if it's some artery. Sides keep changing so don't know if it's migrane.

Stop any caffeine intake and decrease protein intake. Increase both water and salt intake. This could correct your issues.
