I suffer from frequent headaches and have, over the last decade, tried various preventive measures (mostly prescription drugs, but also some supplements and biofeedback), with generally limited success. I'm currently seeing a general neurologist who is ok on the prescription side, but isn't keen working with me on non-drug treatments like acupuncture, chiropractic, other vitamins/minerals/herbs that I haven't yet tried, IgG testing, etc. I can try most of these things on my own, but I'd far prefer to have someone knowledgeable work with me to assess which of these is more/less likely to work, suggest an acupuncturist/chiropracter/... they trust, etc.

I live in Northern New Jersey and would be very happy to get a recommendation for a neurologist you've used who is open to this kind of approach. For the right doc, I'd be willing to travel almost anywhere in the NY/NJ area.

Welcome, this link is the best i can come up with. The Doc I used to use has since retired, he was in Marlton, NJ.

Best of luck in your search.
