New member here. It is so encouraging to read these posts as I have never met or known of anyone to have my issues.
I have had 3 mini strokes. Age 14, 18, and 19. Up until recently they did not know the cause until they found my PFO. I am 20 now.
I have just recently moved states and I am in between doctors but I my last cardiologist wanted me to get the PFO closed as soon as possible about 6 months ago. Recently, I have been experiencing somewhat stronger heart beats randomly that I can almost feel through my chest, I am not sure if that is a concern.
Hoping to get it closed soon as I get settled with a new cardiologist.
Side note: I am running a half marathon next month and hope to get it closed after that if it is not a problem.
