I suffer from migraine w/ aura 15+ yrs. Tried everything, have 30 pages of meds I've tried. Been doing Botox for 1 year without much relief. Is there anything new? The only thing that completely stopped them was an MAOI and I gained 80 lbs on that med. Been to Chicago to see top migraine specialist and still no relief. When I get a migraine I get extra upset knowing I'm"losing" time. Suggestions?

I am so sorry to hear about this but I may have some information that would help you. There is a procedure done to get rid of migraines completely but there are certain requirements that you need to pass. It might be worth checking out www.reedmigraine.com/thedoctors.html A doctor from Reed Migraine, who created this procedure, will also be on the doctors this week and you may be able to find out new info through there www.thedoctorstv.com/. If you can't catch the episode they generally post clips and have discussions. Hope this helps you!

^ sounds like a scam. Maybe it works for some people, but sounds sketchy..

I'm looking into this surgery.

DBM, I know someone else who's getting ready to have the same surgery. Her's is scheduled for (I think) the first week of August. I don't think it's performed many places, is it?
