So I've been feeling a weird pressure sensation on the left side of my head that comes and goes for the past week. It doesn't feel like an ache or pain but rather an uncomfortable pressure.

The pain will sometimes make the left arch of my eyebrow feel heavy (no difference when I look in the mirror), sometimes the pressure will be more oriented on my temple, sometimes above my ear.

I felt slightly nauseous last night but maybe that was nerves because I started worrying about a brain aneurysm.

I'm 22 and debating on heading to the ER because I've never experienced a sensation like this before that lasted for as long as it has (granted it hasn't been consistent but off and on with 2 days this week where I didn't feel it at all).

Advice?

I've been battling adjustment disorder with anxiety recently after a cancer scare so is it possible that these are just tension headaches?

Tension headaches are usually on the forehead and/or back of head and neck.

If you can not get a doc appointment within a day, go to the ER. Better safe than sorry.

Went to urgent care and was diagnosed with a combo of things. The doctor definitely felt tension in my neck, knows of my recent anxiety diagnosis so thinks that's why I have so much tension, and I also have a wisdom tooth starting to protrude out of my bottom left jaw gum.

She told me that she thinks I'm experiencing a combo of tension aches from my anxiety with the possibility of my wisdom tooth bugging my nerve.

I was diagnosed by a therapist with Adjustment Disorder with Anxiety a week and a half ago

dp7 - I know tension headaches are "usually" on both sides, did she mention anything about it just being one sided?

how are you feeling now? I have the same symptoms but on the left side over my ear.
