Hi ,I'm 15 years old . I have been battling Migraine Headaches for 3 1/2 weeks now . I have head pain but the head pain isn't all bad it comes and goes and I have the neurological signs like seeing dots and stuff but they usually last for like a couple of mins or even less . and yeah it's genetic because my mom gets them and my moms aunt used to get them as well . I am alike to go to school and tolerate it but I wanna be able to stop suffering 😩😩 . My mom called the doctor about it and basically she told us what causes it and I should take Tylenol or Motrin and she didn't recommend a neurologist .But the liquid doesn't really work . Now I'm taking liquid gel pills. I've taken it once and took one pill but it didn't really work . So now I'm gonna try two pills and see . Cuz it said you can two if one doesn't work . Idk why I keep having the migraines because the firsts time I ever had them was like maybe a year ago and it only lasted like an hour . And I have been stressed lately since this migraine started cuz I've been worrying about it so much . So I need so medical advice to get better .

Here are a few things I suggest you do.
Being 15 is a stressful time of life just being a teenager, peer pressure can increase this. So hopefully, if you have peer pressure you can learn to reduce that.

Look over this options, the food diet is important, helps many people. They key is artificial ingrediants, especially Red 40 and yellow food dyes produce migraines. These are in foods you would never expect. Must read ingrediants on labels.

also start a pain log, use a monthly calendar format so it is easy to track you pain. Use numbers, 0-10, 10 being the highest level of pain. Mark when you and menstrating

take this to the doctor and you can discuss when the over the counter medicine worked or not.

one more thing, you won't like this. Get off your social media! Hours with your head bent over, eyes focus on led colored light is a sure trigger for migraines. The neck was not made to be bend for hours, the eyes need rest and peace from light and sharp focus.
