Hi all,

Just wanted to share an unorthodox treatment I've been given for headaches (both SUNCT and migraines).

It is taking high dose Melatonin every night, at a dose up to 12 or 15mg. The usual pills are sold as 3mg so it's 4 or 5 of them.

I am finding a benefit so far. Sleep like a log and have strange, vivid dreams but other than that it has no side effects.

My consultant says that trials have been done in Philadelphia by some of his colleagues over there, and they've been having success in treating these sorts of headache disorders.

It's a simple, harmless thing to try so if anyone needs something else perhaps worth a go.
