I have this feeling of pressure in my left orbital region that makes me just want to shut my eye and put either heat or an ice pack on it. I went to an optometrist and she said my pressure is fine and my eyes are healthy, though she did say my left eye has changed mildly in terms of a light prescription when I use a computer. When the pressure begins I'm usually not on a computer so it has me confused as to what is stemming this feeling.

I was dealing with fluid behind my left eardrum which I was prescribed nasonex for (I've been taking this for 3 weeks now and my ear feels 75% better) when my ear was really bothering me I did not have this pressure ever so I don't really think they are related. The cherry on top is lately I've been dealing with a lot of anxiety and this past week have suffered through a couple severe panic attacks which had my right left and foot feeling really weird so I went to a walk in clinic because I was really freaked out and stressed. The Doctor also looked at my eyes with an Ophthalmoscope along with doing nerve tests and I feel like if he saw something alarming he would have had me get a MRI test or something so I have no idea what is causing this. I even asked him being a total hypochondriac if it could possibly be a tumor which he said not likely given I don't have any other symptom. I have no double or blurry vision, it is just that my eye area feels pressure and strain and its all I can focus on. I don't have this feeling all the time it just comes and goes (heat sometimes does help give a bit of relief)

I know anxiety can cause many different symptoms but from reading other posts it seems like it affects both eyes for other people. I did get blood work done that I'm waiting on because my brother has an autoimmune disease and luckily the Doctor I saw was thorough but it was more regarding my leg and foot (which has subsided :P) Any insight would be appreciated as Dr google always goes to the worst case scenario.

Q,

I am not a medical professional by any means, however I do suffer from chronic sinus's and other conditions.

Inflamed sinus's can cause, eye pain, face pain, ear pain, pressure and your nose and be relatively clear.

I suggest you make an appointment with and Ear nose and throat specialist. [ent]
