For those who have done it... how long was it for? Did it work? Did the effects last? Was it done at Jefferson?

I did IV Lidocaine last October, I was there for only 4 days, had it the entire time. And I am a patient through Jefferson, so I did have it there

It has worked wonders for me so far, I went from a month of daily severe headaches, to now having about one a month for the last two months.

I'm not a long term story, but its something. Hopefully it helps. If you have anymore questions, let me know

I had it down at Jefferson in Philadelphia. I have a history of chronic daily migraines, see signature, since 2006.

Relief lasted 3 weeks.

My out of pocket from insurance was 3K. Check your insurance coverage, call and talk to someone.

Once you have this done. If it does not work for long, most of the doc will want you to do it again and again.

I faught again it for year. Finally got tired of Jefferson thought medicine at me, I left there on 7 medications, and an average pain level of 7 per day.

Found a new neurologist, pain control with out narcotics, using mindfulness, meditation and CORRECT medication.

I am now on 3 pain preventative meds. 2 PRN meds and my pain level is 3-5 on most days.

Big difference.
