The best advice I can give you is:
Get a correct diagnosis/Find a good headache specialist
Educate yourself, even doctors will not tell you everything you need to know
Get on a good preventative regimine
***I was in your situation, I have had migraines for more than 10 years, they have been dibilitating, I got to the point where I lost EVERYTHING, house, car, relationships etc. I was even facing bankruptcy from medical bills etc. I am now on a good preventative regimine and am working two jobs to dig myself out of the financial black hole I am in- things are looking up and I am feeling better. Granted, I still have bad days, but they are fewer and farther between.
I know you probably want to roll your eyes and say "good for you" but honestly, the three things above are exactly what I did. (and prayed really hard too)
