Hello All,

Its slightly off topic, but can I ask you all a question?

Does anyone go through this???

I am so tired during the day that I could litereally take four naps a day.

But at night I am very energetic and love to dig in and clean the house and work out and do all sorts of things.

It's hard because with how tired I am during the day you would think when bed time arrived I would fall asleep the moment I hit the pillow.  But it's so unusual because I get a ton of energy at night!  (starting at about 9 PM ish)

Is it just me or does anyone else have this kind of body clock?

Any words on this would be soo greatly appreciated.
Lauren  :)

Lauren,

I am that way by nature...I could sleep during the day-everyday, and then rip and run at night and get so much more done!

Mine is not directly related to migraines or medications....or is it?

Hi Lauren,

I am the same way. I can't get up in the morning to save my life, but I can stay up all night. Given a choice I always choose to work at night (we have night meetings at work). Everyone thinks I'm nuts but it's my preference. When I don't work I tend to stay up late and get up late. Unfortunately the world doesn't work that way.

It's interesting, I wonder if it's linked to migraines in any way.

You know I never gave that much thought. My wife is a Respiatory Therapist and works evenings. Before I met her I was a morning person, and still was through the begining of our relationship. about 2 years ago I started getting migraines, and have had increasing difficulty falling asleep at night. But I can sure sleep through the day. Some days even 12-14 hours dont seem like enough

Hi Goldie,

Welcome to Healing Well. How is the Topamax going for you is it helping? I am afraid I am a morning person, I get my best work done in the mornings! I have also had migraines for a very long time too! Keep posting and let us know how you get on.

take care

Ann
